FREE MISC. LESSON - "The Best Gifts: Class Compliments for the Holiday Season (FREEBIE!)"

by Blair Turner
1st - 5th Grade

Use these resources to have students create meaningful and
character-building gifts for one another that they will cherish
for years.

Included:
-Compliment and character trait anchor charts
-Compliment cards in color and black and white
-Envelope covers in color and black and white

Have students write a compliment to each of their classmates. Collect all of the compliments and collate them into individual envelopes for each student. Seal the envelopes and attach the envelope covers.

At the end of the last day of school before winter break, pass out the envelopes--no peeking until you get home! Over vacation, students will love reading their compliments.

This is a great way to build classroom community, raise self-esteem, and promote positive relationships. I love this activity because it's non-denominational, meaningful, and best of all--FREE! Enjoy!!

Happy Holidays!!
